Foundation stone of the project laid, work started

Hoshiarpur- Hoshiarpur Lok Sabha member Dr. Rajkumar Chabbewal formally started the work by laying the foundation stone of the bore tubewell project for drinking water facility in village Ghukarwal. This project will cost Rs. 8.50 lakh. He assured the villagers that if required, more money will be made available so that the people can get rid of the problem of drinking water.

Addressing the people on this occasion, Lok Sabha member Dr. Chabbewal said that clean and drinkable water is the fundamental right of every citizen. He also said that his priority is to reach the people of villages and remote areas as well.
Dr. Chabbewal also gave information about various development schemes being run by the government and said that every village will be strengthened in terms of infrastructure. He appealed to the Sarpanch and Panchayat members to maintain transparency and speed in development works.
Village Sarpanch Tarsem Kaur thanked Lok Sabha member Dr. Chabbewal on behalf of the villagers and said that this step is an important initiative towards improving our health and standard of living.
At the end of the program, a sapling was also planted. On this occasion, Sarpanch Tarsem Kaur, Rattan Chand, Panch Gurjit Singh, Panch Satinder Kaur, Panch Ajit Kaur, Panch Gurpreet Kaur, Rakesh Chander, Simranjit Singh, Jatinder Singh, Madan Lal from Parsowal and Sarpanch Jaswinder Singh of Nasran village were present along with many other dignitaries.
