Informing Pakistan about ‘Operation Sindhur’ a crime: Rahul

New Delhi, May 17- Congress leader Rahul Gandhi has attacked the government for giving advance ‘information’ to Pakistan about targeting terror camps during ‘Operation Sindhur’, saying that it is a crime and questioned who gave permission for it. In a post on ‘X’, Rahul Gandhi questioned External Affairs Minister S Jaishankar’s public admission that the Indian government had given information to Pakistan before the operation.

New Delhi, May 17- Congress leader Rahul Gandhi has attacked the government for giving advance ‘information’ to Pakistan about targeting terror camps during ‘Operation Sindhur’, saying that it is a crime and questioned who gave permission for it.
In a post on ‘X’, Rahul Gandhi questioned External Affairs Minister S Jaishankar’s public admission that the Indian government had given information to Pakistan before the operation.
He also questioned how many Indian Air Force aircraft were damaged as a result of this. The Congress leader has also shared a video of Jaishankar, in which he is saying that before starting the operation, the government had given a message to Pakistan that its army was going to target terrorist camps.
Meanwhile, the Press Information Bureau (PIB) has denied claims that Jaishankar had said that India had given any information to Pakistan before 'Operation Sindhur'. In a post on 'X', the PIB's fact check unit said that the minister had not made any such statement and his statement has been misrepresented.
