Patiala, January 10 - Despite the repeated appeals of the district administration, there has not been much impact on those people who take advantage of the animals and later leave them on the streets. Many times precious lives are lost in terrible road accidents due to these stray animals.
The Municipal Corporation with the help of the District Administration is already carrying out its work of transporting the stray cattle to the cowshed of Ablowal. But people who force animals to roam on roads are the cause of this problem. The administration is now starting to be more strict against such people. The Municipal Corporation Commissioner has written a letter to SSP Patiala regarding monitoring of entry points of the city by PCR teams of Patiala Police at night. The letter states that cattle are pushed towards the city from the areas surrounding the city at night through Sangrur By Pass, Nabha Road, Rajpura Road, Devigarh Road, Sanur Road, Sarhand By Pass.
Through this letter, a strict warning has been given that strict action will be taken against anyone who endangers the lives of the common people by leaving the animals on the roads.
