Deputy Speaker inaugurates development works of government schools at a cost of Rs 41.4 lakh

Garhshankar/Hoshiarpur, May 25: Under the Education Revolution campaign launched by the Punjab government, the development works of government schools are getting a new direction. In this episode, Deputy Speaker of Punjab Vidhan Sabha Jai ??Krishan Singh Raudi today inaugurated construction works at a cost of Rs 41.4 lakh in various schools of Garhshankar Vidhan Sabha constituency.

Garhshankar/Hoshiarpur, May 25: Under the Education Revolution campaign launched by the Punjab government, the development works of government schools are getting a new direction. In this episode, Deputy Speaker of Punjab Vidhan Sabha Jai ??Krishan Singh Raudi today inaugurated construction works at a cost of Rs 41.4 lakh in various schools of Garhshankar Vidhan Sabha constituency.
Deputy Speaker Punjab Vidhan Sabha, while inaugurating new classrooms, boundary walls, drinking water facilities and other basic facilities in Government Primary School Tutomjara, Primary School Meghowal Doaba, Middle School Mugowal, Middle School Langeri and Senior Secondary School Mahilpur, said that the Punjab government is working with the resolve to make government schools better than private schools.
On this occasion, he said that the state government under the leadership of Chief Minister Bhagwant Singh Mann is committed to providing quality education to children. Our aim is that children from rural areas also get a better educational environment so that they can move forward with confidence.
He said that lakhs of rupees have been spent on these development works and its purpose is to ensure a safe, healthy and conducive educational environment for the students. Raudi appealed to the school management, teachers and villagers to keep these facilities safe and motivate the children for education.
Officials of the education department, panchayat representatives, teachers, students and local people were present in large numbers in the program.
